Saving What You Love

I’m not sure if my dogs saved my life, but they definitely gave me life. I now pass that on how I can by fostering and transporting coonhounds. This video was put together by one of the volunteers for The American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue. It recognizes the breed that I have come to love that is so misunderstood in our country. Please share this video with your friends. Oh, and watch close-Grannie has a cameo with my girls!!

  1. Wonderful! Prudence has taught me so much about the beauty & specialness of Coonhounds!

  2. I think I saw your Grannie near the end? Lovely video. I doubt we have any Coonhounds in New Zealand and I know virtually nothing about them except they look like lovely dogs. Good luck with finding forever homes for more of them!

  3. Great video. We finally have a Coonhound rescue up here in New England so we’re starting to see more of your beautiful breed around. I love them.

(PS – I wanted to comment on your welcome back from the mountain and Molly photobombing your pics but something kept going wrong. Anyway, I just wanted to say you’re so right about Daisy’s expression! Priceless.)

  4. Oh, this is so lovely for these terrific dogs! I’m a foster for ABTCR with black and tans, a bloodhound, and a bluetick. All found wonderful homes. So true – “that dog don’t hunt,” “it’s just a noisy dog,” “you can’t train ’em,” etc. HA – those types don’t know what they are missing. Sharing this video – thank you!!
